Looking for mod advice ?

Hi guys,

I'm planing to buy Classifieds Module , and Events Module , both should be at least integrated with Evowall module .

I was wondering if there's anything pretty nice and special that i could go for ! any particular ones ?

I can't find UE30 event module , and zarcon pages ? any idea where to find those ?

Is there any event mod or classified mod that will let guest to fill in details of the Event for example or classifieds and when they done with filling those details , you click continue than at the time you are told to fill in your details like password email username and finally Submit the event and this will make you a member as well !

Cause now i find out that dolphin is so complicated for members and not simple or strait forward , you always have to register before filling any form in events or classifieds why not to do it other way around , let guest fill their events forms and classifieds form with pictures and all that shit but at the end they click continue and redirect to the join form which will be associated with events and classifieds and when they fill that they hit submit and this way we did hit two birds with one stone !

Is this possible ? can this be customized ?

A lot of it depends on association.  If an event is associated with a user and that user does not exist, then you have to have some way to temporary hold the data of the event so that the user can become a member, then once a member, you have to send that member information back over to the event temporary data and update it and then finialise the submit.

Yep geek girl ! That's what i'm looking for :) I think dolphin needing this in Events and classifieds as well , cause those two are very demanded now a day and guest should have an easy access to create event or classifieds , and as you described that's what i want to see in dolphin !

Is there any possibility to achieve this through hiring someone or it is impossible to do so ?

In our discussions, you appeared to not have the funds for what this modification would cost.  It is not a quick five minute code change.

What you could do is for those that are viewing events and are not members; guest viewing, is to put a block up saying "If you are not a member, join now so you can list your events on our community" or something along those lines.  When a person is logged in, the block will not be displayed.

just my 3 cents. I would really think some more about allowing guests to do any adding of any kind.

A - You could potentially be stuck with a bunch of spam content that will never get switched to a real account. 

B - What happens after I hit submit, and then decide not to create an account. Whether I change my mind, or I had to leave the computer for something.

C - Since there may be different things that interest a user on your site, for consistency this concept would have to be implemented on every module.

Professor you didn't get what we are talking about ! If you did hit submit you will be a member as well as your event will be submitted !if your a spammer than i will find out because if you submitted a spam message mean u will be logged in as well as member so that doesn't make any difference , cause if a spammer will spam your site , def will just go and make a new registration ,easy enough :)

The only other thing is if you decided to leave the computer before hitting submit than you will loose all the date simple as ...

As for the funds gee girl , how much we are talking ? if i can't afford i will say so and go with your easy option you provided , which i was thinking about it long time ago as well :)

We have had this discussion before.  There is no way to give you a price without just padding the heck out of it; it is impossible to know how many hours something like this would take.  This not only goes for me but any other developer.
