I have a little problem with my Forum not showing up.It keeps telling me that the profile is not available for view.It was working just fine.I added a template for D7 and it still worked fine.I added another one and all of a sudden it stopped showing at all.So I switched back to the default template,It's viewable to guest and members.I cleared the catch and it still not showing. The info is still in the data base. Can some one point me in the right direction as to whats going on here? Thanks in advance Disstudem |

what is the template you added, and most likely the issue is the template if you are able to view the forum if you revert back to the tmpl_uni. so please get in touch with the author of the template and ensure that this is a D7 template.

Thanks for the reply DosDawg.I got rid of all temlates that I down loaded for D7.I'm using the default temp_uni template and I'm still having the same problem.I noticed when I go into my admin panel and go to the Orca forum module ,I can not even manage the forums any more either.Man this is got me stumped.Any idea whats going on here? |
Look and see whats in the modules\boonex\forum\layout folder on the server.
There should only be 4 folders in there.
base base_en uni uni_en
If there are any others for your old templates, remove them.
You could also as a last resort. Delete the base_en and uni_en re-upload the base and uni folders from modules\boonex\forum\layout from the origional dolphin zip file then go into admin and orca and recompile the orca language.
Also check modules\boonex\forum\templates and see what is in there. Should onlu be one folder called base.
Oh, and you should also try emptying the contents of the cache, cache_public and tmp folders on the server. Leave any .htaccess files that exist in those cache folders.

Update.Thanks Deno92964.Deleting the folders worked.It's now working.Thanks for the help.Have a great day disstudem |
We are all looking at templates as the origional cause, but i just re-read your post and it states it shows profile not found which might be a different problem.
Instead of viewing your forum with the normal link that takes you to...
http://www.yoursite.com/forum
Try going directly to here.
http://www.yoursite.com/modules/boonex/forum/
Replace yoursite.com above with your actual domain name of course.
See what happens when you do that.
