I would say if the hosting company is helping you with this problem my first questions are:

At what point is the mail not being delivered? Is the script connecting to the mail server? Is the mail being sent by the mail server but not received by the end user? Your mail logs should help figuring these things out.

Honestly there are people here FAR BETTER equipped at helping you with this problem. I am just pointing you to the basics as if I were trying to personally track the issue.

Appreciate your help as i know nothing at all about the mail part. I sent them the link you gave me. I receive mail when new users join. They do not receive  the email upon joining at all . It says it was successfully send and should arrive with in the minute but never does

I would suggest to install and configure SMTP mailer module.

As per above logs it shows that email sent from your contact form do not
have a valid envelop sender and that's why while sending an email from
contact form it shows an invalid email address like
root@cbr***.webhosting.openconnect.com.au which is a default cPanel
email address. Can you please confirm with your web developer if the email is actually
getting generated. Can some please tell me if they are on the right track we have tried everything. Still cant get it to work. Thank you

Based on what is being said, I would suggest thhat you confirm you have created an email account on your webhost, that the email account name matches your domain name (something@yoursite.whatever) and that all the email address you created is the email address set in your administration area (again thiss stuff is out of my league so I may be talking out my *(&#$@&^$

:)
