Manage banners: no images!

Hi,

I stumbled on the "Dolphin 7 Beta Administration Manual" http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DolphinAdminManual

so I now understand that the URLs of the image files I want to use as banners go in the "Text" box (c'mon, guys - you can do a better job of naming fields than that can't you?  How about "Image URL or text"?) on the "Manage banners" page.

The problem: I'm entering the URL there and it's appearing as a text link, not an image.

Anybody else had this problem and figured out a solution?  I cleared the caches and it didn't help.

Help!

Maybe this can help you!!!

Title = name on your banner

URL = banner url as a text link if you don't have any html code bellow Text

Text = text or html code, like a image link

You can test this banner:

Title = Boonex Banner

URL = boonex.com

Text =

<table width="100%" style="padding: 0px 110px;"><tr><td>
<a href="http://www.boonex.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.boonex.com/img/b9-footer-boonex.png" width="143" height="33" alt="BoonEx - Community, Dating and Social Networking Software" border="0" align=""></a>
</td></tr></table>

Start date: today

Expiration date: 3 month in the future

Positionon the page: Top

Thanks!

I made the stupid mistake of believing the instructions that Boonex gives in the Administration Manual:

Please note that the field "Text" should contain only the path to the image source located on your server or just plain text (if you want to have a plain text banner). The actual link should be specified in the field "URL".

If you do as they say and just put an image path in there it doesn't work.  The simplest thing to do is to use an HTML image tag:

<img src="http://www.boonex.com/img/b9-footer-boonex.png" width="143" height="33" alt="BoonEx - Community, Dating and Social Networking Software" border="0" align="">

I appreciate your help!
