Mass Mailer resends all the time

Running 6.1.4.

My site has been dormant for a while due to advertising failing like a dropped rock in quiet lake.  Quite fast and simple.  That is not the issue, but what is, is as follows:

I reset my advertising, and attracted 4 new people within a couple of hours last night.  Ever since then, the Mass Mailer has been repeatedly been sending/queing the emails almost every hour as evidenced by my reports.  I have it set on the regular cron job of 10 minutes so I know it isn't a repeating thing.

I have a total of 15 members and get the following cron job report:

- Start email send -
Total queued emails: 20
Ready for send: 20
Processed emails: 20
Processed emails with errors: 0

Where are these emails going to and to whom?  Is there a way to stop this from going out?  The mass email was a one time only thing, I can erase it, from the database, but don't want to have to unless necessary.

For now, I have disabled the cron job until I can this figured out.

I think that all these mails are Cupid mails. Since Dolphin 6.1, this feature is not working properly (at least for me).

I don't know anybody who was able to fix this issue.

The cron job can generate millions of Cupid mails and as much incredibly long SQL errors reports that can saturate the RAM of the server :-((

Hmmm...soo...if these are cupid mails, is there a way that I can see for sure? 

I do have an account set up in there as a member for testing, but it isn't getting any of those emails if that is the case. 

Open your Admin Pannel - Tools - Mass Mailer to see if I'm right about Cupid mails ;-)

I never said that all these Cupid mails are sent... This is part of the problem.

You can stop Cupid mails feature within your Admin Pannel - Settings - Advanced Settings and by deleting the cupid.php cron job...

I will let it sit for a while with the cron job re-enabled.  I have seen a drop of new members today as the ad novelty is wearing off.  It will be a good test.

I did set my test account not to have a looking for man/woman preference.  Since that was the case, maybe that is why my test account didn't get any cupid mails. If indeed this was the case of the mails, and makes lots of sense.

Will post results within 24 hours once this has passed.
