annabel, are you looking in your database at the mail staying in queue? so none of the mails are being sent, or are you just looking at the admin control panel and it says its still queued? the other part of this would be to ascertain if your cron job is firing to send out the email, the other thing would be to determine whether the SMTP on your host is actually working. this can be determined by loading some other small utility to fire off an email from your server for testing purposes. Both in db and admin panel, they just stay there ... I already checked my cronjob, nothing seems to be wrong there. Permission on periodic/cron is 644.
Not sure what you mean with firing of an email from my server. I do get emails when new members sign up, so I suppose they are coming from my server as well ?

i set this /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/main/periodic/cron.php via webmin. image: http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/749/screenshot20100709at111n.png main folder is the root of my site. It looks correct to me. What else I should look at. |
