Massmailer not working

Hello guys. For some reason the mass mailer for my website is not sending out the newsletter. I clicked "submit", then "clear queue", but the emails are not being received. Could someone please let me know what I am doing wrong? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

 "Clear queue" deletes any emails that are in the queue waiting to go out. Are you getting an email every night showing the database has been cleaned?

Yes I have been getting those emails.

sometimes eaccelerator can affect it..do you have one installed in your server?

I don't even know what eaccelerator is.

 So your cron is working ok then. When you first click "Add to queue" is it showing there are emails in the queue at all? You should never have to click "clear queue".

 I have the same issue but not receiving the every night email status since I migrated to a new server, I have 729 emails in the queue, I dont think my cron job is working also since I have jobs not working and I dont know where to fix this.
