Member Levels

Hi,

I wanted to know if the following was possible -

1. I would like to have some members who can have their own pages (these can be like super users of the system).

- These users can log in and modify their pages.

- They can post text, videos, photos etc on their own pages.

2. The second type of users are those who cannot have their own pages nor can they even register into the system.

- These users will connect via facebook connect or not even log in.

- The only function that these users can do are to Post comments on the "super user" kind of members walls.

So basically super users can create fan pages and are actual Members of the system.

The normal users can only post on the super users pages, and are not Members in the system.

Can somebody please tell me how to achieve this?

You will need to post a job in the jobs section. Building fan pages and such is not a built-in feature of dolphin. So you will need a custom module.

On your second requirement. That also is not possible. Unregistered members are called guests. But once they connect with facebook connect they are members. It's how facebook connect works. It creates an account on the system.

I understand both your points.

However, what if I restrict Registration access and create the "Super users" through the backend. Can super users then modify their own pages?

And to handle the second requirement, can users make Comments on the pages without logging in?

Depends on what you mean by modify their own pages. Other than dolphins profile editor to change colors of the default profile page for that member, dolphin does not have a built in way for members to create their own pages.
