Member wants to change profile name

Hi Member wants to change profile name to her business name it say successful when changed but its been 2 days and hasnt changed can someone tell me where or what setting i need to allow this in please.

Just change it in the database  Profiles table.  

Keep in mind the forums module stores post/thread/etc. data by username and not member ID, so if that user has posts, they will be "abandoned".

I don't allow members the ability to change user names because on a social site, it may be a way to "fool" others since the user name is shown and not ID.  I set nickname as a field that only admins can see and thus change.  Members contact an admin and request the change in user name.

Now, if the profile edit form is not saving the edits, it could be that a required field on the form is not being filled in.  If that is not the case, then see if the join form is working and that new members can join.
