Hi, How do I make my site a members only site where no access is granted until you log in or register

There are many ways to make your site not view-able, from pages to blocks..

You will need to use the site search feature here to find more details about these settings. 

Hi newton27, thanks for the reply, I took a look at the Page access control thingy and was totally lost?

I also looked on the site search feature and that baffled me too! 

If for instance, I  used the access control panel and  where it asks: Access URL template, If I typed in the home page for my site, would it allow visitors to register and allow members to log in or would it totally block access for everyone? I dont want to try it then not be able to undo the action

 Take a look at these settings for a site, 

With these settings you see, guest cannot browse the browse.php page on the site, nor a regular user, they have to have standard membership.

the games section is for everyone except a guest, and the spy section is for "user" and "standard" profiles

Hi, I think I have got the basics of that now thanks  I see I can go to each page and classify it as members or non members, this could be useful and important as it offers an ability to entice your audience with little tasters of what is within the site once they join. Nice one!
