Members photos

Hello,

I have just upgraded my site to 7 from 6.1.6 and my old members photos I can find on my server with no problem. But when new members join, I cannot find their photos. Anybody know what directory the new members photos are going in? I cannot find them on my server and they must be gong somewhere.

I believe they are under ./modules/boonex/photos/data/files/.

Nope,

Not there, not that I can see anyway. If it is, there is no way to tell without clicking on every pic and opening it up and viewing it. I tried viewing the source code on the profile of the page of the person that just joined, and where it appears to be the path to the image on the page the path is the name of my domain and then the path continues with the first folder being named m and then the path continues. I have no folder inside of public_html named m, nor do I have a folder named m inside of any folder. The only thing I can figure is that the pics are in a hidden folder called m inside of public_html.

modules/boonex/photos/data/files

That is where they are on my site and every other site i have seen. So they have to be there.

The m you see is a permalink. It is short for modules. The .htaccess file takes care of the conversion of m to modules. Thats why you don't have a m folder.

Hello,

I don't know man, I just went to modules instead of m, but then the next folder in the path is not there. But anyway, I figured out that the easiest way to find out the path to the picture is to right click on the picture in the persons profile, (in safari  on a mac anyway)  I don't know if other browsers have the same right click menu, I have not tried them yet, then click the "copy image address" option and then paste it in a word processor. This gives you the path on the server to the image, which is all I wanted since I have a "member spotlight" which I put all new members in when they sign up.

Kindest Regards and thanks to all,
