Membership Block Setup Missing see pics

I am confused at why the membership only appears in the admin section  How do i get it to appear if someone wants to edit their profile and let say upgrade the membership.  When I as the admin log in I see the membership options but if I log in as a guest and then edit my profile membership options are not available and the block is not in the block builder page?  See pics

hmm why would you want your members to set there own membership ?  thats an admin only control.  so if you had paid memberships and a member went in there they could just flip to a gold member and set it to active without paying for it ????

OK where does the person pick the type membership they are signing up for?  I added one that is a paid membership so where does that person have the option to see it?

You need to have the Membership module installed

Modules => Membership

On your account page you will see the My Memberships option.

Once you click on that it will take you to the Memberships page which is where your membership levels will reside and that's where they'll purchase the desired membership.

Most likely my fault. He asked me where members could change upgrade to a different membership level and for some reason i thought it was in the edit profile section.
