Membership Levels Do Not Automatically Downgrade

Can someone please please please help me out. I don't understand why I set a membership level up and it doesn't downgrade.  I set one at the url listed below for 1 day to test it:

It's been Silver for 2 days already.  If you notice too, I set the membership to expire in 1 day, and the block under "My Status" shows "Expires Never."  I tried finding this to correct it but it wouldn't.  How could I set an expiration on someone for a certain amount of days, then the block says Expires Never. I don't mind getting rid of "Expires Never"  entirely.
