Sorry been away. I replied to your inbox.

There are alot of good reviews for my modules so I recommend reading those. The dolphin subs module pretty much replaces the  membership module but is integrated with the core dolphin script for handling actions and other restrictions.  It should work just fine with any other mod as long as it uses the core membership system too.

Hi freakpower, I have this mod installed on one of my sites as I wanted subcription payments to be ongoing. Dolphin payment module only is set up to take a single month not recurring.

The module is excellent, already my site has made money and is building up nicely. The mod has easily paid for itself already.

If you have a good site, good content and a good members base or way to get them, then this mod is essential.

In fact, I bought it twice to use on another site within a week!

Best buy for me so far.

Since I can't update my review of this mod in the market, I'll leave an updated review here.

Ok, I've got to say that this actually ROCKS!!

1.  Seamlessly redirects a new join to the membership page to select the type of membership they want.  You can set up all types of membership subscriptions from free to paid/days/month.
2.  Totally easy to work with from the Mod's administration.  Easy to understand and implement.
3.  Never, ever, ever do I have to worry about the payments!  The mod uses PayPal subscriptions that puts that in the customer's hands.
4.  The Mod is so flexible that I can even choose not to have the payments recurring.

Troy, great work.  Great help and I really appreciate this Mod.

Im now into my second month after installing this mod so am now getting return customers payments going through automatically.

IT WORKS!!!

All I have to do is keep adding the content and the money is actually starting to 'roll' in!

This for me has to be the most valuable mod I have purchased, in fact I bought it twice for both sites I run. Does what it says perfectly.

This SHOULD be an automatic built in feature to Dolphin, but as its not, you must buy this mod. Its worth every $

100% recommended.

How does the mod handle members who wants to downgrade or are cancelling their membership?

peter, first thing that would need to be done, is understand that you should not double post an inquiry.

How does the mod handle members who wants to downgrade or are cancelling their membership?

have you attempted to contact the author of the module to see what he would have to say about such an action.

it would be my belief that there is nothing written for downgrading. as for cancelling their account if they are asking for a refund, then that is up to you as the site admin.

Thank you for your kind reply.

I guess I was a bit frustrated that the vender Martinboi did not respond to my question about his mod Subscribtions Management. I wrote him several times more than a month ago. It wont happen again..

It is not a question of refund. But only how the mod handle a customer who wants to downgrade to a "no pay" member (in our case Standard member) or he/she deletes their account.

At our setup the system continues the payments from the now former customer/member.

It could be that we have not set this up right together with Martinboi.

Can you help? Any clues?

ok thats fairly easy, write in your TOS that if they downgrade to a non-paying membership level, they will need to terminate their subscription.

also, since i would presume that you dont have that many who are downgrading to non-paying status, then this is something that can be handled manually.

Thank you for your kind reply.
