Membership not upgrading

Can someone please help?

I have set up a gold memberhsip which is a set price for 30 days. When using a test member, I select the upgrade link from the users profile, I select the membership option which has been set up with all the actions and has been set to active. I get taken to PayPal and go through the motions there. Get redirected back to checkout.php after making the payment but my membership stays as 'standard' and does not get changed to Gold.


I check back in both paypal accounts ( the business and the test member) and find that the transaction has been completed only the member does not get upgraded.

Any suggestions? I am running 6.1.4  Cheers!
