Membership payment before registration

Hi,

I've installed Dolphin 6 and set up my website ready for launch. What I want is to be able to have it so prospects pay (PayPal) for membership as part of the registration process. In other words, only paying members get to see the content set aside for members. At present members have to upgrade in order to pay, this is, for me, one step too many.

It doesn't really matter to me if those signing up fill out the registration form before paying or pay first before registering.

Any ideas on how to set this up? Bear in mind I'm a relative rookie at this and I don't know how to write code of any sort.

Thanks in advance!

Adrian

I am with you there. This upgrade thing throws a loop into the action of buying in. I spend a lot of money to get people who are hot to my site and then they get cooled off with the act of one more step to do. Maxx http://www.Radiovenom.org

We are trying to achieve the very same thing. We are doing it via custom php scripts though as that is the only way we have found to do it.

1.  Dolphin needs a $profileID in order to accept the payment therefore the join form must be done first.

2.  You can do a paypal upon join which requires payment.
