Menu builder not saving changes

Has anyone experienced having the menu builder not save their changes? It must be a permissions issue somewhere, but I'm at a loss where to look.

No, it means that AJAX query can't be completed. You may check it in the error log of your server first of all - try to save changes, then refresh the error log and check the latest messages.
