Messages limit

Is it possible to limit a total number of messages a user can keep, like I want 10 messages per user so that older ones will be deleted automatically when a user sends or receives a message.

This would be a VERY bad idea. I understand your point, and I'm currently fighting to fix the problem, but not many people seem to care.

I don't know if you are aware of the problem, but at this current stage, it's Impossible to delete messages. The only thing you can do is move them to trash where they will stay forever and takeup space!

We need something like Gmail, messages older than 30 days will be deleted automatically or 10 messages per user. I want to save my server space.

Mail system needs to be updated but that will not happen anytime soon, maybe with dolphin 7.1.

What is database pruning then? "Clean old messages" What messages does it delete?
