Messenger question

When you install the messenger and simple messenger, just where are you suppose to go as a regular user to access to them?

For friends it appear in the bottom right side in the bar. For a new person if he want to send a msg to unknown ..he/she should to the person's profile, over there will be options to send msgs.

Cant seem to get it to work, I did a friend request between admin and test user, But nothing is showing up, in the bottom right hand screen, I had it working once using version 715, But I cant even get it to work in that version, is it possible it could have something to do with my shared web host ?

Both of your Ids need to be online, plus they should be friend. Its simple same like facebook chat.
