Minor Glitch in Avatar/Profile Pic Upload

Under normal circumstances the join form will correctly post a copy of the uploaded avatar to profile pics if the appropriate box is checked. However, if your site is configured to approve new members, it will not do so upon approval, even if the box is checked. What can be done to make sure the check box works in either case? Thanks!

In my opinion the avatar/photo management setup on Dophin needs some work. It could be a lot more intuitive. I don't see the logic, for instance, of separate Avatar management. We should have the avatar as the primary profile pic and allow it to edited along with the rest of the profile. Thoughts?

I agree diplomacy,

The last thing new members to any site want is a learning curve.

We now have a system in place that takes all new members to their Avatar page on their first log-in. ANyone without an avatar will also be take tot he Avatar page when they log in. It appears to be working well.
