Missing Header/Logo/Quotes

The top of the site is missing, it happened when I was trying to put Google's code on header.html between xml:lang="en-US" lang="en-US">HERE TO Be More precise<head> . When I realized that was not working I undo the operation . After that the header dissappeared . What can I do to get it back .

Restore your origional _header.html You must have damaged it. Then clear the dolphin cache.

How can do that ?

Find the copy in the origional dolphin zip file you used to install dolphin and upload it to the server. Replace modified version with the origional.

If you used the silly auto installers provided by some hosts to install dolphin, then you will have to download a copy of dolphin that matches your version to get a copy of the origional files.

replace your file in templates/base/_header.html with this one in attachment. You don't need to do anything i put your analytics code in it. just replace and clear the cache.

Hi Prashank !

I did as you told me , it didn't work well , what I notice was the gap between the template and the navigation menu become more large than before .  I'm thinking installing 7.0.8 version now , and I believe it will be resolved .

Thanks !

I think you should reinstall or replace all files. There are too many errors in the html.

Make sure the editor you're using is php/html friendly.

@Prashank25 - What was not mentioned in this post was another topic where the analytics code was successfully placed at the bottom where it belongs.

So what we were doing here was to get back the original unmodified header without analytics code.

It was a mistake for pai to start a new topic that was dealing with the same subject as it has caused some people to be unaware on things that have already been done.

This should have been continued in the original topic.

I would attach a clean header file, but i do not know what version of dolphin you are running.

This has been happening a lot lately. I think people don't know how to pull up their own posts so they post the same questions more than once and end up confusing everyone involved.

Is this your website www.gayguidebook.com. If yes it does not have </head> tag.

for you header file i have attached original _header.html, I assume you have 7.0.6 or greater.

From my opinion you should replace full base folder and rewrite your changes.
