Missing members or track cancelation

My client has reported couple of times now that he is missing some of the members from his website. I thought first that it could be because they simply canceled their accounts and left. But there have been such a cases where about 6 members left in one day. The website has currently 150 members so 6 members per day is quite a lot. I remember that I had to set up the php memory limit to 128MB in the past as I was loosing Avatars and thought that this could be the reason for loosing members too. We are in the process of contacting the members and checking whether they canceled their profile or not.

My questions are:

- Is there anybody who had similar problem (missing members)?

- Is there any module which would track when members cancel their account and notify admin as it is with signing up new users?

Thanks.

Chances are, they haven't logged in for a certain period of time and were pruned from the database. I recommend changing the number for database pruning of profiles to something ridiculous to ensure it doesn't happen again. You can find the needed settings under administration, settings, database pruning.

I have checked these and it is set to default 180 days. The website only runs for 3 months.

I have been looking into this, and most likely will do a mod to keep track of deleted members.

I normally don't like to do mods of this type because it will contain a large number of source code changes. I generally like to stick with modules that require no source changes because it makes the process of updating both the mod and dolphin itself easier.

So it anyone will be interested, i'll work on it.
