Moodle & Dolphin Single Sign On (SSO)

Hey,

I noticed that this topic has been discussed in the past but I've not seen any postings since 2013. Did anyone find a way of allowing Dolphin users to access Moodle through a shared authentication plugin, i.e. SSO, Shibboleth, oAuth?? Moodle offer a range of authentication methods (https://docs.moodle.org/29/en/Authentication) and I was hoping Dolphin would/could at least integrate with one of them!

Cheers,

Dolphin supports facebook login and many other OAuth providers via 3rd-party plugins. If Moodle supports facebook login (or some other OAuth provider) you can use it to login to Moodle and Dolphin with the same login.

Try to check if it helps : http://www.boonex.com/m/Cross_Database_Profile_Synchronization

It has a tool to synchronize all profiles so you can add as many sites as you want after installing this mod, or you can synchronize existing once. Synch avatar, profiles and membership

Thanks Kris.

I want to try to use the Moodle plugin that allows connection to an External Database. Do you happen to know what encryption algorithm Dolphin uses?
