More bugs than a rain forest

This is worst version i have ever had

4 times i have had to wipe the whole program after installation

Each time i add profiles it jams up

One profile goes in ok then next the final button to add profile just clicks till nothing happens

24 hours for nothing again.

Anyone know any similar programs that actually work

Try and join and at end of profile nothing happens 

domein not online. So there is no check possible. Most problems are server setting related. 
Check before you install Dolphin if the server/hoster does have al the setting that Dolphin needs to good functional.

It never really bogs the mind the way this software/site and the people who use it and what they think along the way.  Dolphin is an enormous undertaking and I guess you want a free plug and play situation?  I want a Hot, Wife, Kids, yada, yada but it ain't coming for free..........Just like all things in life there is a price to get what you want please notice the reference to TIME.  Time is important and if you want to design something better please do so I will see in in 5 years and 100,000 of thousands of dollars later.  AND I will bet you can't do it nor get close.  If you take the time and research and get to know some of the amazingly talented people here in this forum you will begin to understand that this software/site has amazing potential.......Is it perfect no is it frustrating sometimes yes.......is it amazing most of the time you bet.......LOOK it is a vehicle it takes maintenance, parts, replacement parts, and has upgrades just like a car.

You have a shell what you do with that shell it us to you.  I assure you though you are probably not the guy for this software/site.  If you are looking for a plug and play site, that can be done but not without a great deal of knowledge on the front side.  I am sure there are numerous people here who could put one together based on their knowledge of what needs to be done $$.  The best way to describe this IMHO is the car is in the shop and you have been handed the keys and a crew is outside the shop from around the world ready to help you get it on the track.  The success of your "CAR" is based on your ability to THINK about what is possible BC there are several people here that open the door to just about anything you can think of.  Is it easy NO NO NO Is it a beast you bet but to think you are going to PLUG and Play such a beast makes me wonder what you are thinking about at all.  If you have so many options don't you think that they will need tweaking?  Really...........

Maybe start with DAMN there is a great deal here and then make a list........I.E.  Video quality takes some practice and research to get it right........H.264 is a brutal ride to understand but is now FULLY understood for apple products............THIS IS ONE ASPECT OF 100s best thing to do is get the right host who can help guide you through the land mines as there are settings, settings, settings............

No sorry, been using Dolphin for several years, this is not a Beta but a finalised version. It is riddled with problems.

I like Dolphin software normally and its a great base normally to start a site from.

But hell this is really frustrating as it seems to have been released before the problems are sorted.

I would prefer to be told that issues may still not be resolved rather than find out like this.

Not server side either

1. run dolphin before

2. run ok until 5th profile added

3.Dolphin compatable hosting

Now pardon me for being a little ****ed off but 4 wasted days and little support.

Now i am about to lose all profiles again as i reinstall 5th time

Will the users return, i do not expect so.

Only advice on the  join now button is memory and thats been done.

 You are doing a complete reinstall BC you Join.PHP is not working?  Really? Why don't you track down why just that page is broken?  Am I missing something here?  Why don't you post a screen capture of the joining process?   Im just saying it appears you want to have major surgery for a sprained finger.........And if your site is based on the success of one person hmmmm.....POST the join process by you trying to join and then post the error.......there are about 20 people here who can help you resolve such an issue..........

I have try to join your site, but the button to join now is not functional (no hyperlink), so could not ending the process.
I used Opera 10.62 webbrowser.

The site what I have seen looks good by the way.

You know csampson1 I think he is looking for help, not someone to sit here and criticize. I just love it when you come here for help and a member starts treating you like your stupid. If you can not offer advise then please do not offer anything. Keep those smart remarks for someone who cares to hear them. This software is real buggy and will always be real buggy. I have been here since 2007 and nothing has changed.

Ive calmed down a little now.

Anyway can you explain a little more about url, as each profile went in sweet as a nut and then bang next one became bad.

So it was working!

Thats what i do not understand.

Same happened with map before.

I have worked so hard on my days off work to get this right that im gutted that one little problem that makes no sense has dropped the site completely from useabillity.

how do i set up to get full error report by email?

No error coming up, just button clicks nothing happens

ok been testing whilst i wait for any help

if i miss out the email or something then it brings up the little exclamation mark, so it obviously checks something.

If i complete it fully and correctly then click button nothing happens.

Seen something similar in a forum here but tried the text thing in description not worked for me

They  host dolphin and it worked as i said before, then suddenly stopped.

Happy to let someone poke around in the admin if it helps.

Except the abuse, wrongly calling me a new user, which if i was would put me off coming here again.

I have AptHost, but use another for my RMS. Ask them for help and they will. I have had nothing but good dealings with them for years. They do not however offer RMS so I went else wheres with that, which works out great for me in the long run.

Tries to go to join.php but does not like something about it.

i looked at source code on the page and cannot see anything obvious.

Has to be something linked from that join.php or database problem

Please someone help as not got much hair left to pull out.

ie is there something i can do like reinstall a file or something to check in database?

i fixed it my self

not a bug

problem was with email in profiles. i went into blocks on profile page and changed all the arguments ie what the system was to do with the information.

I had identical setup on same server so copy paste changed then retried login in

after the email i found it worked.

Hope this helps someone in the future
