Can any one list the most successful D7 websites in terms of active members?
I know there is a list of websites on the unity site but as far as I can see, many with higher member lists, you have to log in to actually see the members or see how many are active etc...
Reasons I would like to know - I am just setting up 3 D7 sites, each with a potentialy large community. I have other websites with very large databases and am looking to utilise the social networking facilities of D7 to make these databases into 'communities'
Only thing I would like to see is some large active sites running the D7 script. Ive heard mixed things via google on the speed of the script when large numbers sign up , but am yet to find the large numbers sites without having to sign up to them!
Im aware of the 'generate members' mods that are used by some scripts to boost initial members counts so need to see some actual working sites before paying out nearly 1k$ for the 3 sites to go un-branded
Any lists appreciated all for the right reasons!
