Moving profiles from one database to another

RE: Dolphin 7.0.7

How difficult is it to move all profiles from one database to another (including photos, info, etc).  Can this be done and if so; are there instructions somewhere?

Thank You,

Allen

It can be very easy but it also can be very difficult.
Yes it's possible.
No there isn't any step by step instruction on how to do it, but since you're asking about this i would recommend you get someone to do it for you.

If you both these databases are on same version, the process is easy. If the destination database doesn't has any record, then you can do a normal copy of tables. If you have records, then you have to write a migration script for this. A good experienced developer can do this for you.

i have done this few months ago ... it was a hard task ...

if you are interested i could help you with doing this correctly.

do you have the media files of the profiles also?

if more people are interested in this i could look into developing

a module for this case.
