Multiple Language File Errors After New Install

I continue to get PHP errors.  I go into the langs/lang-en.php and fix the error which looks like the majority of single quotes are missing from several lines, and then I get another error after error after error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/public_html/langs/lang-en.php on line 262

Well here's line 262:

'UncCheck all' => UncCheck all',

If I change that to:

'UncCheck all' => 'UncCheck all',

It moves on to the next line that is missing a single quotes and there appear to be a lot.

I JUST downloaded this about an hour ago and after it told me to change the permissions on my inc folder, I got this...then it crashed my browser (Firefox) and I had to go to the main page which said to delete the install folder.  I did that and then I got an error I searched for on these forums which someone solved by copying the language file from the install directory to the langs folder.

Then this error.

If anyone has any solution please help because I can't even get it set up at this point and I am anxious to get started and buy a license

ok so I went back and reuploaded the install directory and pointed my browser there.  It took me through the process again and I am still stuck.  I get this error after the inc folder check:

I don't think I need to be going in editing these files.  Was there some mix up maybe with the install package? Did I download the wrong one?

ok I am thinking "I cannot be the only one" but a search doesn't bring up any problem like this.  So I went back to unzip my download again and caught these errors:

YIKES! I will try re-downloading the package to another directory maybe

No it still says these files are broken even thought I downloaded to a different directory and used a different software to unzip it.  I used WINRAR first then 7-ZIP.  They bot threw out the same errors.

No one else gets these errors when they unzip version 7?

ok I used CAM Unzip this time and it worked! I got only one error but that program didn't say what the error was.  It just stopped midswing and popped up the word "Error:" In a dialog. Then I reuploaded the install/langs folder and it worked.

Sorry to you regulars reading but I wanted to make sure to document what I did for anyone else who runs into this problem. I have learned that I usually run into problems then wind up solving them myself...so I didn't want to leave it unresolved.
