My site has vanished!

Hi, I have Dolphin on 2 domains, and, after sending out a mass-email the home page has vanished, just a blank screen!

Not sure if the mass email is relevant, but when I go to domainame.com/index.php instead of just the domain name it says this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/freemc/public_html/index.php on line 84

any clues as Ive not touched the scripts at all

tahnks

Well thats an obviously code problem. My first instincts tells me that something has happened to your index.php file (which just so happens to be the first place of hack attacks). Not saying that your site has been attacked yet, just re-upload your original index.php file and see if that resolves it. I wouldn't be surprised if there are other things that are messed up as well. Do that first so you can at least gain access back to your site and then start checking everything..

Good advice... considering index.php shouldn't even have a line 84

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

Probably right.  On one site, Ive uploaded the 6.14 to 6.15 upgarde patch and if I go to domainname.com/index.php NOW, it looks fine (thanks for the advice), but, weirdly, it will not show for "domainname.com" only.  Still getting a blank screen name on the domainname only.

Otherwise, the 2nd site is showing an error of misconfiguration.. bah!  looks like I may have to re-upload and re-install everything, unl;ess you guys know an easier way?
The error message is a 500 internal server error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@someinfo4u.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Thanks again,

Shaun
