NEWBLOCK/NEW_ITEM NOT WORKING

I go to fields builder to create a logon page and a profiles page....

It was working before and nothing has changed.

I editied profiles to get rid of the NEW_ITEM column

I search profilefields and no instance of NEW_ITEM (or NEWBLOCK)

I made permissions for inc/bd_cache to 666 and then to full control

all of these changes are still giving me the same problem.

I can NOT add a NEWBLOCK (headers) or NEW_ITEM (fields) to any page in the fields builder.

Does anyone have the same problem? or knows how to fix it?

I would like to get my questions done soon.

make sure still at 777

remove the inc/db_cache/ProfileFields.inc

now login to admin and go there and move a block from one spot to another... should be ok

problem will reappear if theres an entry in the DB new item new block

goto phpmyadmin and edit or remove ANY instance of New_Item if above wont relieve

New_Item is hard coded so it should not appear in the DB table Profilefield

make sure u use FF for development

IE should only be used to view your product
