NO profile activated email for members

3rd time lucky I hope ..asking for why no profile activation email to members could be happening.

Post moderation settings: Do not change profile status after editing profile information ......only thing ticked

Manage Membership Levels: notify members of expiry 1 is only thing ticked.

I activate the members manually as its an all female Australian network and I verify them all via phone..

I need this to work my site is up and running and I didn't know this wasn't working when I opened it. I have to manually email each of them to say your profile is activated..

I appreciate help of any kind to help solve this.. I been trying for a while now to find the answer

Thanks Jennifer

can you check and see if you have it to auto-approve if the email gets sent out? just run it as a test and see if the script is working in that manner? i know its working for me and others on auto-approve, havent tried it the other way around. if you wanna register on /d7 then i can test that with you as well? will go now and set to approval required or whatever setting i can find in there.

Hi DosDawg,

I checked auto approve and that works thanks.  So I changed an email so they know there profile is only Standard until Verified then I change it to promotion.
