also, the Daily Quote is not Daily.... it's random quote....   why the script dont select one different per day and show it all day long the same and change for another random one the next day??? and also what about multilanguage... the daily quote should appear in the language that user select to view the website....

1.  Red5 is an RMS server, you need to still put in the server info (ip and port) to get your dolphin to work with it.  Dolphin RMS is a modified Red5 version, can you run dolphin without the Dolphin RMS and only RED5...not sure.

2.  Desktop source code is not published yet and I believe only avaiable for prime members, they did publish the iphone code if you have prime.

3. Use the banner function and place the banner and use offset to ste it where you want, take off quotes when doing this to make sure you get it at the top.  If you want to put them within the body itself, you have to make HTML Blocks and put the code in there.  You can customize a template if you have the knowhow, otherwise hire someone to do it if you want a completely automated system for showing the adds (better to use the banner system as it will put them on the pages automatically, you just have to tinker to get it right).

4.  No back dating you cheat!  Actually go to your phpmyadmin and edit the entry from there, the table is bx_news_entries. Now as to date format I am unsure but google will be able to assist.

I can help clarify #1.

Install the RMS provided by BOONEX.

There is more to the RMS than just the red5 media server. Even if you can get dolphin to connect to the red5 server you have, the apps that need the RMS will not work.

The rms provided by boonex includes the server side java jar and class files that are required for the client side app to work.

There may be a way to transfer those jar and class files to your existing red5 server, the work involved in figuring out how to do that will not be worth your time.

So i suggest you just install it. The ports can be changed if needed so they don't conflict with your existing red5 server.
