Need help with Language Settings

I'm trying to change the copyright info, faq, etc.  I was told to  Export Language file > make changes (opening & saving in UTF-8) > Go back to "Manage Languages" > "Create New" > "import" the updated "lang_en.php" file.

I did this but get a database error when attempting to import.  Here's the email alert I get:

Mysql error: Duplicate entry 'en' for key 2

Found error in the file '/home/aeumedia/public_html/newton/administration/lang_file.php' at line 536.
Called 'query' function with erroneous argument #0.

Any ideas how to fix this?

The best way to language changes into administration / language settings.  
Type the key "faq" in and click on apply box. 
Now you got a list where you can translate or make changes
