Need some help

Hi,

I want to have a separate field in a profile page which is like the description field in the profile page. I am here attaching a screenshot for a better idea

Taking the above image as example ...... I want to have a separate field for " Why do you run for deepam ?" just like " About this runner " field. Can any one please help me with this .....

Also can any one tell me how to remove the menu bar on the top , I have removed everything but its still showing the search as in the above screenshot . I am not able to remove that.

Please help me with these issues.

Navigate to administration, builders, profile fields and switch the "edit profile." Add a new item to the area of active items and click on it to edit it's settings and configuration. Change the system name to "About_This_Runner" and change the caption to "About this Runner." Enter whatever you like for the description. Change the "type" to "TextArea" to allow more than just a simple line of information.

Once done, change some of the settings in the other areas around to fit your needs and once done with everything, click "save."

I suppose it only adds a field??? whereas svvivekanand likes to have a seperate block to appear for that particular field, as in the case we have for description, that appears as a block in profile page???

i am not sure if i am right here... please do verify with this...

Just create a new block and place the item under it.

As mahaveersingh said , I want to have a seperate block ...... and i have already created a separate block as u said several times but its not visible for anyone in the profile I cant get the " why do u run for deepam ?" block like "About the runner " block ..... thats the problem, the block visible along with the " General Info " but not alone without including it in " General Info "

Check that out and do let me know ur suggestions

I've never tested this before, so it was only a guess. It might require heading into the database, then.

Anyone else wish to contribute? I know some of you have done this before.

Thnx for ur support guys, I managed to get a solution for it ..... I just created another block during in the registration page and everything is working fine now
