Need step by step help on install of beta 8

Hi I am somewhat new to this dolphin. I have had the 6 up and running and i just need help on transfer to dolphin 8 and upload so i dont loose all of my progress. I also need to know if i replace all of my files with the beta 8 and upload over all of them or start over please help!!!

read that all what I write as info for you.

1-first go to your FTP, to your server

2-Now creat new file whit name dolphin7

3-Now download autoinstaller from http://www.primanet24.com/downloads/Dolphin-v.7.0.exe

4- click on Dolphin7.exe on your browser

5- accept the agreement and next

6- Install to a remote machine

7-give ftp accees for server  and click on Browse to fine file dolphin7 which you have creat via ftp

8-and next, follow infor from autoinstaller.

after upload dolphin7 beta on file/dolphin7   open browser  www.yourdomainname.com/dolphin7

install dolphin7 on your server whit new datebase.

After install go admin panel  www.yourdomainname.com/dolphin7/administration/

now go admin Module   > Date migration

click on  Set Configuration

now fine wher your old dolphin  absolute path

Like :  /home/yourdomain/public_html/

after setting go Data Migration same page 

* Select the data:   first start transfer Profiles

it take about 30 min, if you have 2000 user

after start all data poll , events   .......    you can start all same time no problem.

Do not download that Auto Installer, it will cause your more problems than you could ever imagine.

Here is the proper way:

1.  go to http://yoursite.com/cPanel  (Login)

2.  Click on MySQL Database and Create a Database  & user.  Assign full permission to the user, make sure you write down the full database name & username (I copy paste them into Notepad++) along with the password.

3.  Login to your server via FTP

4.  Create a directory for the D7 Files

5.  Upload the files

6.  Go to:  http://yoursite.com/install

This will start the install process, utilizing the FTP set your permissions for the folders & files it lists.  Folders go to 777 & Files to 666 (Just right click on the item you want and then select properties, you will see how to set them from there)

7.  Next give it your e-mail & DB information

8. Set the Cron jobs via cPanel (the link is at the bottom of the page)

9.  Reverse the permissions it lists for you.

The original question wasn't how to install 7, it was how to transfer the files from 6 to 7, before the thread was hijacked by primanet24.  In any event, there are even more detailed instructions on how to install D7 in the file install.txt.
