Need to Disable Required Login

I am integrating a PHP script with my Dolphin based site and need to disable the required login for the integrated script.

Right now as it works, my members login to our Dolphin based site using their Dolphin username and password, and then when they click on the link for the integrated PHP script it also requests a login; I simply need to remove the required login so when anyone clicks the link they are not required to login to the integrated PHP application.

I can do the actual editing of the files, I just need the direction on where to look or what files to edit.

Willing to pay of course for this information :-)

Thanks

The name of the script could be helpful here.

I don't know why you can't ask this question on the script's support site.

Really, you don't have any idea as to why?

I bet if you thought about it long enough you might come up with an answer! But I will save you all of that headache crap and tell you why.......because I couldn't get a response to my question......pretty much like what goes on around here half of the time :-)

I hope that answers your question?

well i dont think you want to disable the required login. what is more feasible is to have somebody write a database share script.

as dolphin_jay mentioned, there are some scripts which are session based, that just do not seem to jive well with dolphin. so if your script that you are trying to do the login share on can place nice with dolphin, then there is hope.

most of the time when there is not an answer is because in fact there was never truly a question.

some developers also have hooks that are used for database share, so asking on the forum where you have the other script, could prove beneficial as well.

need to know that dolphin uses MD5 on the password and SALT.

the other part of this is that if you disable a required login, then all the chinese will be on your site within a matter of days sharing information about gucci handbags and ugg boots and fine italian leather.

Hey DosDawg,

thanks for your reply!

I actually sent Dolphin_Jay a message a short while ago regarding that same fact; I would prefer linking or cross referencing databases as opposed to disabling the login.

I already have enough Chinese bloggers sucker punching my site as it is lol
