New Page Help!

I created a new page that displays a block that will function very similar to the wall. I created a new php page and uploaded it to the root ... then I registered the page in the db (page, block, menu item). The template page includes the sub header and footer. The page (gospitter.com/notebookpage.php) displays everything except the subMenu Container. What am I missing.
