New install

I am building a new Dolphin 6.1.4 site on a new vps hosting. The IP address is not yet actioned through DNS. I have uploaded the Dolphin files but can not get past the install/index.php I just get a blank screen. Can anyone help please? The index.php does redirect to install/index.php but then just blank.
