New template prob

First of all happy new year to all of you :)

My prob is am using a paid template , the Tm am using it was working fine all the time . Now my template doesn't work with my Forum when ever i click Forum this is the error i got :

Warning: require_once(/home/xxxxx/public_html/modules/boonex/forum/layout/ue30/params.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/modules/boonex/forum/integrations/base/config.php on line 96

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/xxxxxx/public_html/modules/boonex/forum/layout/ue30/params.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/home/xxxx/public_html/plugins/phpids/') in /home/xxxxx/public_html/modules/boonex/forum/integrations/base/config.php on line 96

Note : This Template am using it doesn't require a LAYOUT at all because i used it befor without a layout and it works even if the template provider in his demo site works fine and also he mention too it doesn't require a folder in the layout ! so am sure i did place a folder there befor and i did deleted so that's why this error keep coming .

My question how can i get rid of this error of course without placing a ue30 folder inside the layout ?

For your information even if i will place a folder , the forum show up correctly but it will be impossible to Compile the language !

Thanks.

im going to give this a shot, and hopefully Deano will kick in some feedback.

if this is a paid template and it was created for Dolphin 7 final, and the author told you it didnt require the directory which it is clearly searching for, then i would submit a ticket to the author where you purchased this from to start with.

there were changes made between the RC's and the Final in regards to the template management and template layout. I think you read that full post already if not please search the forums for the keyword 'new template Dolphin 7'.

you are going to have to put the files that Dolphin 7 Final requires into the location where it requires them at. there is no way around that, otherwise you are going to continue to get these errors.

As of D7 RC4 a directory matching the name of the template does need to be in the layout folder.

Basically a copy of uni renamed to match the template name.

Compiling the languages gets tricky. You must be set to the default UNI template. The go to the forums as admin and compile the language.

Then switch to the new template.

www.yourdomain.com/?skin=templatename

then back to the forums as admin and compile again.

Repeat for each template you have.

After that you should see a new directory for the template with a _en on the end which gets created when the forum language is compiled.

hey im getting the same errors.....it works if i set it from the profile side but if i set it from admin panel it errors out like yours did.

ive tried the recompile but didnt work for me.

when i make my switch to mysite.com/?skin=DARK_RED it just stays as the UNI skin. it does not change.

any ideas out there?
