Module URI must be unique. But it seems that you have some 3rd party module which has the same name as boonex articles module has !

I suggest you to ask mod author to change module URI.

To proceed with upgrade uninstall this module which has the same URI as articled module - but in this case all content from this module will be lost.

OK i removed the articles module but how do i proceed with the upgrade?

Do I continue on the list BC I need the final instruction so how do I get them do I refresh the browser page? or continue with front side instructions...

"Step 6: Please follow and read all automatically completed steps of the upgrade script, paying special attention to the last step. The last step of this upgrade is IMPORTANT. You will be given special instructions by the script which you will have to do MANUALLY"

The above issue stopped the process so I cant see the Step 6

See attached picture of what I am looking at and what to do next...... should I push the button again?

Don't want to do it unless it should be done.....

If script fail during system upgrade then you can fix the problem and can try to run upgrade script again.

If upgrade fail during modules upgrade then the best solution is to restore site from backup, fix the problem and run upgrade script again.

Even if your site is working fine after modules upgrade fails - I suggest you to complete upgrade someway - in other case you can have unpredictable results and future problems with upgrade.

It is better to always make backup right before upgrade procedure. But you have no backup or it is too old - it is a problem you will need custom upgrade - you can try to do it by yourself - but it is dangerous way, I suggest to hire someone to do it for you.

If you still want to do it by yourself - I do not guarantee at all if everything will work, but if you want to try anyway - here are the instructions:

0) Make backup of current system, if you miss the backup before, make it at this stage at least, so you will not make the things even worse.

1) Fix the reported error

2) You need to check which modules are already upgraded - you can check it by comparing current module version in sys_modules table:
1.0.2 - module is not upgraded yes
1.0.3 - module is already upgraded

3) Delete already upgraded modules from /upgrade/files/7.0.2-7.0.3/modules/ folder.

4) Delete "alter tables" and "handlers" sections from /upgrade/files/7.0.2-7.0.3/sql.sql file

5) Set "sys_tmp_version" config variable in "sys_options" table back to 7.0.2

6) Run upgrade script again following all the instructions.

7) If it fails again - fix the error and repeat all the steps.

OK followed all insturctions and only one last issue which for me is always the issue Undecided

The Orca Forum and yes Deano I probabaly forgot one line somewhere but tried not to......

I ran into issues trying to do the instructions for the Orca forum.........

administration/default_builders/upgrade/              this file I could never find.............

Recompile Orca Forum language file from admin panel -> Modules -> Orca Forum -> Manage Forum       this is where the issue started for this last one and I reloaded the proper files for template but that seems to be where it started was the conflict in the template...........

also the above instructions FROM ALEXT were perfect and the rest of the update ran perfect after the changes were made......... ORCA is like a constant problem for ME I am sure but ready to see new adjustments to it............so Close.....

Did you download a new copy of the template i updated yesterday?

You need to delete deanos_basic_black and deanos_basic_black_en from the modules/boonex/forum/layout folder

Upload the new module/boonex/forum/layout/deanos_basic_black from my updated archive and then recompile the template again.

You may need to send me access to your site. I need to figure out whats wrong. All i see is a red forum not available message.

You should start with a manual clearing of all files in the cache, cache_public and tmp folders except for .htaccess files.

If it still don't work, then i will need access to figure out why.
