No sound with Video Playback!

Hi,

Okay this App looks good and I know it's gonna have a few bugs but is anyone else able to hear videos on playback? Cos I can't

Maybe its because I'm using a 3G IPhone instead of 3GS.

Can someone else check and post here if you have the same problem or not?

I am not experiencing that issue.  Though I can only playback youtube embeded videos.

It maybe that ffmpeg could not decode audio from your video file, and this may cause this problem.

Also if this problem on boonex.us then can you specify the exact video ?

Well I tried with loads of videos on the Boonex.us site and still no sound

When I play from the website I get sound but on the iPhone no sound.

I do get sound on the iphone when I just play a sound file.

I have tried with two iPhones but they are both only iPhone 3G not 3GS.

For some reason since some version iPhone stop playing videos with mp3 encoding .... I have changed encoding:

All new uploaded video will have new encoding and will play on iPhones with sound, after above fix

What encoding will work with the iPhone?

Is the encoding we can set as a parameter from the ADMIN console??

AAC encoder should be used to encode sound in videos, you need to change the code to change codec:

I can confirm that this is now fixed in 7.0.1

But only for videos uploaded or transferred after upgrade.
