Non-Members Can View Areas w/o Registering

Hello,

I'm new here so I'm hoping that someone can help.  Can someone please tell me how to change it so that, until someone registers, they aren't able to view the polls, videos, music, chat rooms, etc.?  Right now, when you go to my site, www.mediumreadings.com/ParaComm, you don't need to sign up to view all of that stuff.  And you can even vote in the polls without registering.

Thank you in advance for the help!

Best Wishes,

Savina

Hello and welcome :)

easiest way - go to admin area >> builder >> navigation menu builder and edit all menu items -  so they won't be visible for non members.

Hi Artur,

Thank you for the quick reply! Unfortunately I've already tried that - and I just double-checked all of them after I read your post just to be sure. All of my menu items in all of the "builders" areas (Fields Builder, Navigation Menu Builder and Pages Builder) are only check-marked for "member," "guest" is un-checked. Am I missing something else?

Thank you again for the help!

Hi Artur,

Can you please let me know if you got that message I sent with my login info?  Again, being new here, I just want to make sure I sent it the right way, lol.  Thank you!

ok - I found problem. You changed in all sub menus - but main menu you left visible for non members. I suggest you just to change main menu items (gray in the top) and leave green as they was.

Thank you for checking that for me, but when I click on the grey ones I get a pop-up that says, "These items are non-editable."  How do I edit those?

you need to edit gray blocks in the top. They are editable. Only in Active Items zone.

I'm sorry to be a pain, but I've tried editing everything & the grey blocks in the active zone can't be edited, except for the "Home" button and the "Members" button...Every other grey block on the entire page, both in the active are and the "All items" area give me a pop-up that says, "These items are non-editable."  Should I be in a different area, other than the Navigation Menu Builder?  Maybe I'm confused about what area you're talking about.

This is what I've been doing: Admin Panel---->Builders---->Navigation Menu Builder---->Clicking on all grey buttons...The only ones that let me edit are the Home button and the Members button.  I've even tried moving buttons from the All Items area into the Active Items area, but they turn green and they're all unchecked for guests.

Thank you for your patience with me!
