Not possible: allow_url_include is Off

Hi there,

the requirements (and my installation page of dolphin) says that I have to turn the allow_url_include to OFF, but there is no possibility with my provider. Is it possible to run it instead of this recommendation?

My provider told me that this is only a recommendation which is no "must have", there are other security settings which makes this not so important...?

Can anyone give me a statement about this?

THANKS anyway,
Stefan

You'll have to find another hosting provider.

I have to agree. It clearly states that this must be off here:

yeah this would need to be turned off, and you should be able to add that to your htaccess or to a custom php.ini if your hosting service is not doing that on a global basis.

or do as was suggested, and get dolphin compatible hosting.
