Nothing seems to work

Hi finaly got dolphin 6.1.6 installed, but now whenever i click on a tab nothing seems to work all i seem to get is 404's

Please could somebody point me in the right direction as to where i am going wrong.

Looks that php is not compiled mbstring, or that url rewrite is off.
Check your php info if you have have all things Dolphin needs.

have had a look and everything is fine with my php but i have noticed that when i click on for example, all blogs, it takes me to mysite/blogs not mysite/blogs.php hence why i am getting a 404 could anybody understand why it is doing this and if so is there a quick fix ?

When you uploaded dolphin to your host you may have missed the .htaccess file thats in the zip archive that belongs in the root folder of your dolphin site. Some zip extractors, ftp programs ect sometimes miss that file because it's treated as a hidden file.

Check to make sure that file exists on the host.

If it does, then your host is not processing it. mod_rewrite needs to be enabled on the server.

Contact your host for help with mod_rewrite.

The alternative is to go into the admin settings and shut off all the permalinks. Not recommended if you want your site to be search engine friendly. Best to fix the mod_rewrite problem.
