Notifications to Members

A member of my site emailed me and wanted the emails to stop.  Emails meaning all the new member notifications, postings, messages, etc.  How can I stop it for only her and for any future members??  Would I have to create another level and add these members to it?  I started but there's no action for notifications.

I haven't tried this but this might be what you are looking for. If you open/edit the database with something like phpmyadmin and find the table profiles...then edit your member asking about this and try changing EmailNotify 1 to EmailNotify 0

You may or may not have to recompile the language file in your admin panel.

I just don't have time to test this by creating new member notifications, postings, messages, etc as you mention.

But this is certainly worth having a look and testing on your side.

If it doesn't do what you are looking for then change EmailNotify back to 1 for the member.

Ok, but wouldn't that disable you from sending even the newsletters and admin mail to them?

The great solution would be to be able to select what you want and don't want to recive. Hopefully they will keep this in mind in some new updates :)

How did you enable email notifications (for postings, new members, messages, etc.) in the first place? I've been looking for this feature for some time now. Is it default behavior?
