OS Quick question.......

Does Dolphin run better on

1) Cent os 5

or

2) Red Hat Fedora Core 7

or does it matter?

Dolphin will not care. But CentOS is a enterprise class OS. Fedora core is a open source test bed for Redhats final products. Considering that CentOS is a re-branding of redhat enterprise i would go with that.

In my opinion, CentOS is far more stable in a server environment then Fedora.

I'll answer your question with another question: Fedora Core 7? Dear, God, that is an ancient release.

I have to go with Deano on all fronts. Fedora is fairly stable, but it is meant to be cutting edge, and is not for servers. CentOS is based off of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and is far more stable and reliable for a server operating system.

Personally, I'm working to get Dolphin running under the BeOS. Once done, I'll be more stable than all of you.
