One column full width, to two column

Hi everyone, this is my first post so be kind.

I want to put in the homepage at the top a google map that is full width.

My Question is how do I in page builder, use an html block and afterwards continue with a two column layout.

You would have to hard code this into the index.php page, page_1.html & the index.css pages.  It can not be done in the Page builders.
