Hello Everyone,
When I click on Forum I get this message:
Could not select MySQL database. Did you properly edit inc/header.inc.php file ?
It was working before I installed a new template anyone have any suggestions on fixing this? Please advise.
Thank you,
Jeff

clear cache, and try again.
if it is still not working, try the UNI template to check if it works.
If it works with UNI .. then you have to dig deeper to find out what is causing the problem
|
sounds like the template has some issues. can you revert back to the uni template and resolve the problem? if so you need to contact the template author for resolution. When a GIG is not enough --> Terabyte Dolphin Technical Support - Server Management and Support |
Check your db settings again in inc/header/inc.php!
PS. Template should not manage the database connection!
PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first |

Have to agree with DosDawg here..

This doesn't seem to be a template issue.
It seems you have tried to install orca separately.
This can be resolved. What version of dolphin are you using?

have you tried to switch back to the uni template?

do you have a backup of your site at some point close to the proximity of adding the new template?
was your forum populated with content, do you have a backup of the forum i.e. database backup prior to the template change?
Yes I have and it does not work on UNI either.
Thank you,
Jeff

Had the same problem, and the owner or the template fixed it for me. So contact the owner of the template. What's that falling? its a bird, its a plane, oh wait its Facebook |
