Orca forum doesn't come up...

My website is horseridingbuddies.com and my ORCA doesn't come up. I contacted the company who installed it and thier answer was:

The reason that you are having the issues with the forum is due to the XSL Module. It seems that it is not installed on your webhost's server. We do offer dolphin compatible hosting on our hosting servers. You can review our plans here..

I host with Lunarpages so my next step will be to ask them about the XSL Module. But if that doesn't go anywhere I was wondering if I can install a different forum on a subdomain (forum.horseridingbuddies.com) and forward the ORCA link to this new subdomain. Is that a viable option at all?

Thanks for any info,

On your server the XSLT module must be installed. Ask your hoster to do that for you.
If they not willing this, then look for a another hosting that have all dolphin needed settings.

For the other forum option, yes its possible look at PHPBB3 solutions... at this forum.

I see the forum is visible, but language is not compiled and no Forums created.

Good Luck..

There's nothing wrong with your forum other than you need to compile the language file.  When I looked at your site, XSL was installed and enabled.  To compile the language file, log in as admin, go to the forums and click on the little 'en'.  There's nothing wrong with your current hosting.

P.S.  I wouldn't touch PHPBB with someone else's ten foot pole.  PHPBB is notorious for being riddled with security problems.

If you don't believe me, just google the words  -  PHPBB security holes  You'll get almost half a million hits.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.
