PHP 5.4 WARNING!

In Admin Panel in host tools there is label:

So I have updated. And Dolphin fails!

Yea. They really should just check for required version rather than scaring people with a warning that they should upgrade.

The message says upgrade maybe required. It does not say upgrade must be done.

Server software updates should never be done unless necessary.

Also saying dolphin fails does not tell us much. Such as errors you're getting. Your leaving us to guess. More information would help.

However you should revert back to your previous version and ignore that warning. Dolphin has not been fully tested on the latest version of PHP.

Yes, having Dolphin check the latest version of PHP (not even the latest compatible version, but the latest version itself) can and will lead to problems.

I already reported this a while back and a small file change is need if you do try and run 5.4 ....
