Page column percentage adds up to 1000%

Has anyone experienced this before? Not only are the pecentages adding up to 1000 when they should be adding up to 100 (yes I know that this will be the same size if it was 100 or 100,000 but if you look at the green marker underneath the columns, it is all the way to the right when it should be located where the left and right columns meet. If you drag it to the left the left hand column gets narrower and the right get wider.

The second one toward the end sounds like the same issue your having.

Thanks Deanno but I have tried that and it still hasn't remedied the problem.
